I help experienced recruiters find new recruitment agency jobs in the USA.
How and why did you get into recruitment?
I got into recruitment using a recruiter like me (Rec2Rec) I got into recruitment to be able to earn and create a lifestyle that my family and friends around me can benefit too.
What’s the first thing you do when you get to work in the morning?
Check my calendar. Pending interviews/candidates are they prepped? important calls I have I am prepped?!
What’s your favourite part of the day?
Favorite part of the day is introducing a candidate to a client. The candidate has the excitement of the possible new adventure while I enjoy the ability of identifying that talent. (email back saying interview request – LOVE IT)
What’s the most challenging part of your job?
The most challenging part is a no at the end of a process. Ive never enjoyed delivering the news!
What keeps you motivated?
Very cliché but being better than yesterday.
What piece of advice would you give someone starting out in recruitment?
Start small, dream big, build a network and believe in the process!
